Social Media Marketing

Do you know this about Socal Media Marketing? About the most important point is that social media is not as easy as it seems. The second most critical part when it comes to social media marketing is – Correct social platform. You know many tools are available to make your job easy on these platforms. This being said, it does not mean that any platform available there can be used for your product or service. Well, if you want to, you can of course use any of these platforms available but what I am saying is that not all are effective for all products or services.

Shout out and post your brands online

Let me give you an example, when I talk about fashion products, they will do well on photo blogs like Instagram, Pinterest, Flickr. It will also do well on Facebook as the photograph shows nice and big up on the home page. In case of Twitter, the image will not be visible till the user actually clicks on the link that says ‘Show Photo’. So in this case, for you to push consumer to view your image, you will need to write something interesting so that he would want to see what you are talking about. Now, I am not saying that Twitter is not effective, but here the other platforms are more effective and resourceful than Twitter. visit this link for more updates. Of course if you are giving out just fashion tips – Twitter would be the way to go. There could be some indirect ways you could use these photo blogs for purposes where they wouldn’t fit in the literal sense. Like for a contractor market, you could post pictures with before and after shots, remodeling pictures or other big makeovers among your success stories. There could be testimonials from customers which will be a good engagement. Let’s say as a contractor, you could be marketing yourself online using Facebook, Twitter or other media; but writing blogs or giving out tips would be helpful.

If I am giving out tips, why would they come to me, now that they have the complete information? Your thinking is not wrong, but as a consumer they will trust and have belief in you if you provide value to them. They would want to hire you then, because they know that you have the knowledge. You giving out information to them is not as bad as you think. You will build that reputation of being well versed in your field.

Just don’t follow what the world is doing – Think & Strategize

Now, let’s talk about new bands or musicians for example. YouTube is the best platform for them to market themselves on. It has a huge market potential, your audience is global and for you it is free. You could use Twitter to tweet about your events and travel plans. You could use Instagram for pictures of your band and your shows. See in this case, Pinterest will not be of much use. Nobody is looking for live information on Pinterest, it is meant for a collection of pictures of things that interest you. A few pictures of your band or shows will not be as helpful on Pinterest as other platforms. Facebook and Twitter are quite universal that way, they usually go with all type of commodities or services, but the way you use them is what makes the difference. As a Photographer, you could make use of Flickr, Instagram and even Pinterest among other platforms. Visit http://www.entrepreneur.com/article/236584 for more news.

You need not have just one particular platform for your brand; it should be a combination of a few and should work together collaboratively. Also, you can have different platforms and even different pages for different products in the same brand or different brands under the same company. This will help you take advantage of different social media platforms according to the products and will keep different strategies for different products. Sometimes even your target market can decide the kind of network you plan to use. Some social networks are more popular in certain areas in comparison to others. Do your research before you head out and start publishing content where nobody is seeing or interacting with your content.

Blogging is another essential part of Social Media Marketing and I feel all these networks go hand in hand. Read my post here about how every social network is part of making your business successful.
